    Description

    Handmade vintage Dirndl Trachten Apron.  Made to be worn over a German Oktoberfest type skirt or dress.  Shown on my women's size medium mannequin.  Will fit approximately a Women's Small to Medium with the tie length as is. Could easily add to the ties to fit additional sizes. Measurements are in the photos. Lightweight cotton with embroidered ribbon.  Ric-rac detailing on ribbon.  Handmade apron.  Estate sale find -- a dry clean label has the owner's name from her first marriage -- so I would date this to around the 1950-1960s.  Wear consistent with age.  There is the remnants of a white sticker on the underside near the hem.
