    Description

This is the EARLIEST KNOWN example of the Crowned Circle of Turks Islands (SG CC1).  This one here was sent to Bermuda and is the only one known to this destination.  It was received on October 29, 1857 as noted by the receiver ark on the back.  It traveled from Turks Islands to Australia to Bermuda and arrived at St. George's on November 7, 1857.  This is an extraordinarily rare and incredible item and an absolute must-have!
