Fifteen cent 1931 Airmail stamp featuring a typical dog sled and biplane with skis, brown, engraved, Coat of Arms watermark, perf 14.1x14.1. There are 4 different perforation varieties of this stamp with 14.1x14.1 being the most common followed by 13.8 x 13.8, 14.3x14.1 and 14.1x13.8 - the scarcest. This particular stamp also has a portion of the "CROSS" watermark (upper right corner) that appears in the middle of the 100 (10 x 10) image stamp sheets. Listed as AM 10g in the Newfoundland Specialized Stamp Catalogue by Walsh and Butt. Excellent color and fresh appearance, very well centered for this issue. Approximately 30% of original gum disturbed by previous hinging, hinge remnants. No faults that are not obvious in the scans.
