A simple instrument to record the highest and lowest temperatures day and night.
The red tipped pointer indicates the highest or maximum temperature reached since the instrument was last reset, and the blue tipped pointer indicates the lowest, or minimum. The black points shows the actual temperature at time of reading.
The reset maximum and minimum pointers - first turn the red pointer anti-clockwise using the larger nut until it just touches the black point and then turn the blue pointer clockwise using the smaller nut until it too, just touches the black pointer.
