Antique Straus Macys ABP Brilliant Cut Glass STAR Pattern 8 1/2" Jug Pitcher

Offering a Straus Cut Glass Co. Brilliant Period Cut Glass, ABP, claret pitcher in the "Star" pattern, no. D 424. Illustrated on page 101 of Macy's 1903-04 Fall-Winter catalog. As stated in the catalog it is 8 1/2" tall with a 5" diameter base. The illustration in the catalog doesn't show the beautiful hobstar center cutting. There is a small chip on the underside of the spout and a tiny nick on the rim. Shelf wear on the base. Clear bright blank. Please see photographs as they are part of the description
